B'nai Mitzvah

Preparing for a Bar/Bat Mitzvah involves exploring and understanding one’s Jewish identity; learning about Jewish practices, history, and ethics as well as learning the Torah portion. Each student engages in a program of study as well as a Mitzvah project. B’nai Mitzvah students are encouraged to continue their affiliation with Congregation Beth Shalom through involvement in the Yachad youth program and other special programs at the Synagogue.
